ISLAMABAD, Feb 23 ): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former federal minister Ahsan Iqbal on Tuesday appeared before the accountability court in the Sports City Narowal project case.
The Islamabad Accountability Court heard Ahsan Iqbal’s plea for acquittal in the Narowal Sports City project case. However, the hearing was adjourned as the lawyers entered their 18th consecutive day of strike.
The lawyer representing the former interior minister did not appear in the hearing today. The hearing was adjourned till March 10.
Earlier, the court had sought a reply from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in the matter.
Ahsan had gone to the accountability court where he had sought acquittal in the case of lack of evidence.
