ISLAMABAD, Feb 20 ): Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday lauded the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for achieving seven-month revenue targets and preparing an IT-driven conversion plan.
In his Twitter messages, Prime Minister Imran Khan praised the FBR field formations for achieving seven-month revenue targets through bold tax audits and enforcement, and anti-trafficking measures. He said he should continue to work with honesty and determination.
In another tweet, he praised the FBR head office team for developing an IT-enabled transformation plan and achieving the latest track and trace system.
He added that it would add an additional 100 billion dollars in revenue once it becomes fully operational in July 2021, in addition to helping to curb counterfeiting and establish the rule of law.
