COLOMBO, Feb 20): Sri Lankan Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa on Saturday said he is looking forward to receiving Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan in Colombo.
In his tweet, Mahinda RajaPaksa said that the visit would further strengthen bilateral ties and pave the way for joint ventures that would mutually benefit our two nations.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will pay an official visit to Sri Lanka on February 23-24, 2021 at the invitation of his Sri Lankan counterpart Mahinda Rajapaksa.
During his visit, Prime Minister Imran Khan will attend bilateral meetings with President Gotabia Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, as well as a number of other high-level engagements besides the Business and Investment Forum, as well as a sports diplomacy initiative.
The Prime Ministers of Sri Lanka and Pakistan will jointly preside over a program to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on February 23 after official talks on a temple tree.
